As many of you may appreciate, SkyCity and New Zealand are facing unique times in the wake of Covid-19 and returning to our same standards of operations is a complex and lengthy process.

Our Poker community is wonderfully engaged and have shown there is a great demand for the return of our Poker product, but we need to ensure we can meet that demand. We appreciate the passion and enthusiasm our loyal Poker players have and the team at SkyCity Auckland want you to know we are working tirelessly in the background to be able to offer you the same great experience you have come to know and love, but we are not there yet.

UPDATE: POKER ROOM CLOSED

• The Sky City Initiative is the only co-working space in Blount County. Each member of the space will have access to Gig Internet, kitchenette, conference room, and other shared resources. Month passes, dedicated desks, and small office tenants have 24/7 access to the space along with conference room time included every month.
• SkyCity Auckland is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days of the year. The casino is closed for Christmas Day, the morning of ANZAC day and Good Friday. Our restaurants and bars have various opening hours, and the Sky Tower is open from 8.30am until late.
• Sky City Casino poker tournament schedule and information, including starting times, buy-ins, prize pool guarantees, and freerolls. Attention Poker Rooms: Get your Real-Time Live Action on PokerAtlas!
• Located on level one of the hotel, each room opens out to a large area with a set of chairs and a table. The space is exclusive to guests of the courtyard rooms from 6pm daily. From $269NZD per night.

Following the advice from the New Zealand Ministry of Health, SkyCity Auckland has put in place a number of additional social distancing measures to keep people safe.

For this reason, the Poker Room will be closed until further notice.

We are excited to announce that online registration and payment is available for selected Poker tournaments. To register online, click the ‘Register Now’ button (where available) under the tournament listing and follow the online instructions.

To register for any of our daily tournaments, you’ll need to visit the Poker Room at SkyCity Auckland and register in person on the day of the relevant tournament (but no earlier than 2 hours before the stated start time).

In addition to our tournaments, cash games are also available on demand in the Poker Room at SkyCity Auckland (subject to table availability and the number of participants).
